This mill is made from multiple layers of dyed and laminated Birch. The color goes all the way through the wood. It is not painted or stained. It is made with a ceramic grinding mechanism from Denmark with a Lifetime Guarantee. Because it is ceramic it will grind pepper, salt, or spices. The grind is fully adjustable from Corse to Extra Fine. This mill is sold however I can make one for you.
