Real sharp! This hand turned bottle stopper is magnificent. It is made from Dyed and Stabilized Box Elder Burl. It is not stain. The color is all the way through the wood. The light spots are where the burl is so hard the dye wouldn't take. The dark spots are inclusions normally found in burl wood. The bottle stopper is triple chrome plated and has a food safe silicone seal. After the stopper was turned it was hand finished and polished with a very durable high gloss finish.
