Here is one amazing piece of Red Camphor Burl. Of all the Camphor trees less than 2% are red making it rare. Additionally when I got this piece of wood there was a burl attached. I utilized one half of the tree and the rest was the burl. This is not 2 pieces glued together but instead the way the burl grew on the tree. Additionally this tree was struck by lightning leaving a burn or two in the wood. Lightning also enhanced the coloring of the wood. This vessel measures 6 1/2" high by 6" wide.
